BORDER CHECKPOINT RENOVATED WITHIN PORTOVAYA LNG COMPLEX PROJECT

Reconstruction of maritime passenger-and-freight permanent multiway checkpoint on the state border of the Russian Federation in Vysotsk seaport (Leningrad Oblast) has been completed.

The checkpoint has been refurbished within the limits of Gazprom, PJSC land plots. The checkpoint has been renovated within the framework of construction project “Complex for LNG Production, Storage and Shipment in the region of Portovaya Compressor Station”. The turnkey project has been implemented by Technology Engineering Holding PETON.

Within the framework of reconstruction:

  • the checkpoint has been furnished with mobile units,

  • equipment has been installed,

  • buildings, rooms and structures necessary to arrange border, customs and other types of control have been technically equipped.

There has been a meeting held at Portovaya LNG site where the members of interdepartmental commission consisting of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, Federal State-Owned Enterprise Rosgranstroy and state regulatory agencies have declared the facility complying with all requirements after the renovation and technical equipping.

The number of ship entries per year will amount to 20 considering design cargo turnover within the terminal.
