Technological engineering holding PETON participated in the III All-Russian young scientists academic and research conference, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of academic G.A. Tolstikov “The pinnacles of science – conquer the young! Modern achievements in chemistry in the works of young scientists”.
The Conference took place from 30.05 to 02.06.2023 based on the Ufa Biology Institute of the Russian Academy of Science (RAS) Ufa Scientific Center. The conference comprised eight scientific workshops where topical issues of organic, bioorganic, and physical chemistry were discussed, and young chemists as well as honored RAS experts presented their plenary papers.
The first day of the conference was marked by a ceremonial opening of a memorial plaque on the facade of the Institute, commemorating academic Genrikh Aleksandrovich Tolstikov. During the ceremony besides the scientists and heads of the Ufa, Moscow, and Novosibirsk RAS branches lead specialist of the R&D department of SRDI Oil & Gas “Peton”, LLC Aleksandr Kolbin made an opening speech, mentioning the role of business in acceleration of the national science development and integration of scientific and technological solutions at the petrochemical and fuel and energy facilities. PETON is one of the leaders in national engineering and the trajectory of its development foresees the increase of research and development portions of the work, including in the area of petrochemical processing, analytical chemistry, and mass-exchanging processes.
As part of implementation of the young scientists’ support program PETON delivered sponsor support with issuing a collection of scientific theses of the Conference.
