Official event “First pile driving” took place at the construction site of NZNP facilities iii-iv construction stages on 25.12.2020. The owner of the construction project is Novoshakhtinsk petroleum products plant, the general contractor is NZNP engineering and the general designer is SRDI oil & gas “Peton”.
In July 2020, NZNP engineering and SRDI oil & gas “Peton” signed a contract to design the advanced oil refining complex.
The driving of the first pile marks the beginning of investment program facilities construction.
The facilities to be designed include:
- Automobile Gasoline Production Complex (Naphtha Hydrotreatment Unit, Penex Unit, Catalytic Reforming Unit);
- Advanced Oil Refining Complex (Diesel Fuel and Kerosene Hydrotreating Unit, Combined Hydrocracking and Hydrogen Generation Unit, Delayed Coking Unit, Sulfur Recovery Units);
- Liquefied Petroleum Gas Production Unit.
- Utilities and Off-site Facilities
Site plot is 160 ha.
The official event was attended by the official representatives of Rostov Oblast Administration and Head of Local Government Minister of Industry and Energy of Rostov Oblast A. Saveliev, Head of Kranosulinsky District Administration N. Alshenko, the representatives of Novoshakhtinsk Administration.
NZNP and Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation had earlier signed an agreement on refining capacity modernization which foresees the development of secondary oil processing and manufacture of products conforming to quality standards Euro-5.
The construction of new units will enable to increase the depth of oil refining and broaden the range of products manufactured.
The execution of the project will give an opportunity to considerably improve the quality of the products manufactured in accordance with modern ecological standards.
Innovative technical solutions, modern technologies and state-of-the-art equipment will enable to minimize environmental impact.
