A panel discussion “Opportunities and Mechanisms for Creating Import Substitution Production Facilities” organized by Gazprom PJSC and “New Gas Industry Technologies” Equipment Manufacturers Association* took place on April 5, 2016.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Association, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gazprom PJSC V.A. Zubkova, the management and members of the Managing Board of the Association.
SRDI Oil & Gas "Peton", LLC was represented by the management and technical specialists of the company.
Three main blocks of issues were covered at the meeting:
- The existing demand for current technologies and equipment for gas industry: what gas business lines are the most vulnerable in terms of import and what products and technologies are of the highest demand in the mid-term and long-term perspective?
- The present day supply of the gas equipment manufacturers: the experience of successful project implementation in the import substitution field. Practical application of the mechanisms for introduction, approbation of the import substituting production and assessment of its conformity with Gazprom PJSC requirements.
- Measures of state stimulation and finance sources for creation of import substituting production facilities.
Peton actively participates in the import substitution program and production facilities localization. Construction of Amur GPP is one of the current projects under which the company is implementing the import substitution program.
