Gazprom chose SRDI Oil & Gas “Peton”, LLC as the developer of justification for investments in the construction of the LNG plant on the Black Sea shore (Krasnodar Territory).
Under the project PETON is to consider different locations for the plant site and the shipment terminal, including the option of constructing a floating plant. The output of the new production facility is planned to be assessed with regard to the future demand.
As a baseline scenario Gazprom will consider the construction of a plant with a capacity of 500 thousand tonnes per year with the possibility of capacity augmentation of up to 1 mln tonnes.
