Since 2020 Peton Construction LLC (a member of PETON Technology Engineering Holding) participates in the National Project “Labour Productivity and Support of Employment” since 2020. The purpose of the project is to improve labour productivity by means of lean production tools, as well as to improve personnel’s skills and engagement. Over two years, it implemented a number of projects intended to optimise insulation process and develop as-built documentation for LNGC construction at Portovaya Compressor Station site.
To replicate successful project experience, the company chose to launch training in production system development and lean production for office employees of Peton O&G R&D Institute and Peton Construction. The training will cover such areas as the basic principles of lean production, analytical tools, and enhancement of business processes and labour productivity. The training has face-to-face format and takes place in the corporate classroom of the company’s headquarters.
Employees shall cover theory and practice modules, take a knowledge testing, and write a graduation thesis in the form of a Just-Do-It project. This is the first training phase for office employees, who will further execute labour productive and process performance enhancement projects on their own.
In March 2022, Peton Mekhanizatsia LLC joined in the National Project “Labour Productivity”. Currently, the company is selecting the process to be implemented as a pilot.
National Project “Labour Productivity” was approved in 2018 pursuant to the May Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin and is intended to create the conditions ensuring an annual productivity growth rate of 5% by 2024 in Russia.
