PETON LAUNCHES OWN AI-BASED ANALYTICAL SYSTEM TO INCREASE PERSONNEL’S WELL-BEING

2023-04-04
PETON’s team comprised of psychologists, methodologists, analysts, and IT-specialists developed a proprietary AI-based system for evaluation and increase of the personnel’s contentment level.
This system utilizes:
•    Data on the employees’ activity;
•    Direct polls to determine the level of contentment and involvement of the personnel and departments, as well as to prevent emotional burn-out which may lead to decline in efficiency and dismissals.
The implemented system is based on Power BI and machine learning. Neural networks have been trained using the company data which allowed to determine the level of contentment, evaluate the relevant needs of the employees and their emotional state based on the results of specialized polls.
In future this will help the company to create more comfortable conditions for efficient work of its employees.
The system evaluates the employees’ state by three indicators:
•    Involvement – how involved the employees are in achieving business results;
•    Well-being – whether the employees are comfortable working at the company;
•    Contentment – whether the employees enjoy working at the company.
The decision to develop a proprietary system for monitoring the personnel’s level of contentment was made after a third party pilot platform, tested within PETON, demonstrated that, similar to other existing systems, it did not take into account a number of relevant factors and specifics of the company’s business processes.
The project included several steps:
1.    Development of the active analytics system (polls) to evaluate the personnel’s level of well-being and to generate individual recommendations for the employees and department heads.
2.    Development of the passive analytics system to analyze the intensiveness of communication between the employees.
3.    Development of the passive analytics system to evaluate emotional burn-out based on the users’ activity.
Beyond that, the system is capable of the following:
•    identify managerial style of the employees by means of polls’ analysis,
•    single out most distinct team roles and skills,
•    form project and task groups and teams.
The Peton holding stands to benefit from the Project implementation in the following ways:
•    increased use of internal corporate data for managerial decision-making process,
•    increased efficiency and well-being of employees and implementation of comfortable working environment,
•    assessment of burn-out levels among employees.
For its part, the proper management of employee involvement enables one to retain personnel in the Holdings perimeter thus reducing the efforts and expense to support HR-related activities.
The project also supports the implementation of the employee systemic development strategy by making use of the infrastructure and capabilities of the Peton’s Corporate University project, which was launched back in 2021.
Once the testing had been completed, the Project was integrated into Peton’s “Comfortable environment” eco-system, which was initially designed for employee contentment and involvement management, as well as for the purpose of contributing to the formation of flourishing and comfortable working environment in the Company.
Currently, the Project is in its pilot stage, however throughout 2023 the Company plans to scale the system and extend its coverage to all the companies operating under the auspices of the Peton Holding.
“Well-being of the employees is an integral part of a healthy working environment. Those companies that strive to improve the well-being of their employees and reduce the level of stress in their staff contribute to the formation the positive and healthy working environment. These preventive measures aimed at staving off the professional burn-out are capable of preventing some of the more negative scenarios that may follow if unaddressed”, - Peton’s corporate psychologist commented.
