In 2023 the team of PETON holding (scientific and research design institute “Peton” and construction company “Peton Construction”) commenced the works at the large production sites in the Republic of Tatarstan.
A package of works is being performed on the process pipes at the site of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim”, PJSC for the construction facility “New complex for production of olefins. Stage 1 – New complex for production of ethylene EP-600”. Besides, certain construction and installation works (“Interconnections”) will be carried out on this site as part of the project. So far, the installation and welding of the process pipes have already been completed, and the weld joints have undergone non-destructive testing.
The execution of the second project in Tatarstan started comparatively recently. In the beginning of the year PETON received a notice of award of a General contract from PJSC “Kazanorgsintez” for the performance of construction and installation works on Reconstruction of reactor “B” with the expansion of the capacity to 220 thousand tons per annum at the plant of “Kazanorgsintez”, PJSC. The integrated team of PETON and “Peton Construction” already started the works on TSF installation, organization of housing facilities, preparation of the site for the period of reactor “B” shutdown, erection of the scaffolding and office-study of the process control and management documentation.
PETON has vast experience in execution of large-scale projects in Russia and CIS countries at FEC (fuel and energy complex) facilities.
