On 5 June – the Ecologist Day and the World Environment Day – SRDI O&G Peton attended an official event hosted by the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.
The event was organized by the Russian Environmental Academy in conjunction with the Vernadsky Nongovernmental Environmental Foundation with the assistance of the Federation Council, the State Duma Committee for Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, the Russian Geographical Society and a number of environmental NGOs.
SRDI O&G Peton was represented by B.N. Alekseev, Academician of the Russian Environmental Academy, Winner of the State Award in Science and Technology, and I.B. Lyanger, correspondent member of the Russian Environmental Academy, Environmental Protection and Safety.
“The event was a good chance to acknowledge the contribution of ecologists to environmental protection and to call business and public attention to environmental problems. The environmental trends are an important activity areaof SRDI O&G Peton,” Igor Lyanger said.
