An extended meeting on the LNG plant construction at the Black Sea shore project

Peton participated in an extended meeting devoted to implementation of the "Justification for investments in constructing the LNG plant in the Black Sea shore area".

The representatives of Gazprom PJSC, SRDI Oil & Gas "Peton", LLC, Giprospetsgaz JSC, and Linde attended the meeting. Peton was represented by General Director I.A. Mnushkin, Deputy Director of Research V.A. Kovanov, HSE Head of the Design Department I.B. Lyanger, Chief Project Engineer R.V. Akhmetyanov, Project Manager V.V. Dureyev, Investment Analysis Department Analyst M.E. Maslanova.

Within the context of the meeting the issues of main project implementation approaches were discussed. Peton presented the concept of carrying out the 1 stage of the preinvestment study, including the concept of the LNG marketing analysis. The participants discussed the variants of placing the sites for the plant construction on the Black Sea shore, and the variants of natural gas liquefaction technologies.

"The meeting proved to be quite fruitful: besides technical issues we discussed the implementation strategy in general, main approaches to task execution and weighted potential difficulties.  The focus was on execution of the project’s first stage – we discussed the project execution schedule, determined the list of essential source data, and analysed the variants in design," noted V.A. Kovanov.
