On October 28 a meeting was held between Schneider Electric and Peton in the Moscow office of SRDI OG Peton. Schneider Electric was represented by top-managers from Russia and Europe, among them Franco Restelli, President Process Automation, General Director of Invensys Process Systems, Boris Muratov, Vice President Process Automation. SRDI OG Peton was represented by Chairman of the Board E.S. Gasanov, Head of the structural division in Moscow Denis Korolev as well as a number of technical specialists. Management of OOO “ENERGO Avtomatizatsia” and “KRUS- Zapad” were also present at the meeting.
During the meeting participants made presentations of their companies and discussed cooperation potential in the current economic and political situation. «Contemporary gas-processing technologies of Peton and automation and power generation of Schneider Electric open up cooperation opportunities for the companies”, - Eduard Gasanov commented.
SRDI OG Peton and Schneider Electric came to conclusion that in the current conditions of import substitution policy in Russia consolidation of the technological capabilities of companies will provide extension of proposal portfolio in Russia and entry of the companies to the new markets.
A decision was made that a working group would be formed in the nearest time to develop partnership relations between two companies.
