“Gazprom”, “Peton” and Linde experts meet to discuss Amur complex project implementation

2015-02-15

At the recent meeting in Ufa “Peton” and LINDE experts discussed the ongoing matters related to engineering and construction of Amur GPP and Helium refinery. One of the hot issues is import substitution localization.

Extended working session of the two companies’ experts concerning engineering and construction of gas separation facility and helium production as part of Amur GPP, was held on February 3-5, 2015 on the territory of LLC “NIPI NG “Peton” in Ufa city.

This project has been developed jointly with one of the global leaders in the field of industrial gases’ production The Linde Group. Technological engineering holding “Peton” concluded the Long-term Relationship Agreement with Linde in 2015. The session was attended by the representatives of Linde AG Linde Engineering Division, Linde Kryotechnik, as well as OJSC “Gazprom”, LLC “Gazprom pererabotka”, OJSC “VNIPIgazdobycha”.

The meeting was held in the format of breakout sessions and three directions were discussed – process, electricity and instrumentation. In the process section German party introduced .process diagrams with pipelines and instrumentation, and process solutions were discussed for helium production. The major result of the electrical experts’ dialogue was approval of technical solutions on construction of power supply system for engineering blocks. Instrumentation experts  discussed integrated distributed automated management system development, which would enable to reduce manned labor to the minimum.

“We highly evaluate the productivity of the passed event. That was a rewarding three-party activity: the session was attended by the experts of the German LINDE, “PETON” holding and “Gazprom” Company from the Consumer’s side.  The next similar meeting is planned where the further project implementation phase will be discussed”, - commented Eduard Gasanov, the Director General of “NIPI NG “Peton”.

The three-day meeting passed in an intensive mode. Following the results of the meeting process, instrumentation and electrical solutions for Amur GPP and helium refinery were agreed and approved.
