Peton signs partnership agreement with Chinese corporation CFHI

On October 27, 2014 the representatives of “Peton” and “China First Heavy Industry” (hereinafter referred to as “CFHI”) signed the Strategic Partnership Agreement. This agreement was signed within the framework of enhancing partnership between Russia and China, which concluded an agreement for purchase of the Russian natural gas for 400 billion US dollars in May 2014. 

The agreement signing ceremony was attended by the both companies’ top managers – Soon Min, the Vice-President of CFHI, and Oleg Vladimirovich Polyakov, the Director General of “Peton”. Mr. Polyakov made a presentation of the company and the report on its further strategically important projects regarding the economy of Russia, including “Peton” participation in engineering and construction of a gas processing and helium plant in Amur region. This project of OJSC “Gazprom” is one of the key sectors of the government’s Eastern Gas Program. By the date of construction completion and GPP launch the project complex capacity will amount to 55 billion cubic meters per annum. Partially natural gas will be exported to China.

CFHI was founded in 1954 and has a great experience in implementation of projects on supply of a large complex equipment for oil-and-gas, metallurgical, ore mining, petrochemical and nuclear power industries.
