2022-02-08

A favourable opinion has been secured under state expert review by FAI Glavgosexpertiza of Russia for Waste Water Treatment Facility (WTF) construction and utility connection project at Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery (NZNP) in the Rostov Region.

The expert review included audit of the design documentation and engineering survey results.

WWTF construction project is a part of Construction Stage III of Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery JSC.

Construction of the Waste Water Treatment Facility for NZNP is intended to arrange waste water treatment process for recycling in the Refinery’s industrial water supply systems. The quality of treatment will enable the waste water to be used in the industrial, recycling and fire fighting water supply systems.

The waste water treatment facilities are designed to process industrial, storm and domestic sewage throughout NZNP site, and provide for waste water treatment at both existing industrial facilities and future facilities under construction.

Upon implementation of investment programme Construction Stage III of Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery, the processing depth will rise to 95%, the percentage of light oil products will grow 1.5-fold.

The project has a number of economic, social, and environmental effects. Project execution covers a number of environmental activities intended to reduce man-made environmental impact.
