On April 28, a contest in knowledge of Occupational Health&Safety rules and regulations was completed in the Peton Construction LLC of the PETON Holding. The Contest correlates with the Labour Safety Day celebrated on April 28.
It is the first contest of this type held within the Holding.
A total of 2104 employees from all construction sites of the Company joined the contest: LNG Complex in the region of the Portovaya Compressor Station (Leningrad Region), NZNP (Rostov Region), NKNK (Nizhnekamsk), INK (Ust-Kut).
The primary purpose of the contest is promotion of health and safety, enhancement of skills and prestige of blue collar trades among employees of Peton Construction.
During the contest, jury members evaluated each team.
The contest consisted of 2 stages held in April 8-28: the first stage included knowledge checks in occupational health and safety requirements, and at the second stage, the committee evaluated the teams for operational safety practices (availability of PPE (eye protection, helmets, gloves, safety harness, etc.), hand tools and equipment (stairs and ladders, electrical tools), cleanness and order in work areas (combustible materials, material storage, waste).
The contestants demonstrated and applied their knowledge and skills in occupational health and safety.
The professional skill contest produced 12 winning teams at the construction sites of Portovaya Compressor Station, NZNP, NKNK, INK.
Contest prize winners received diplomas and memorable gifts.
