PETON SPECIALISTS GIVE LECTURES IN LEADING RUSSIAN UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES

Engineering is a science-driven process. Peton Technology Engineering Holding builds its activities on scientific knowledge and advanced process solutions applied at the petroleum and gas facilities through the country. PETON is also participating in development of Russian science under cooperation with industry specific higher education institutions. Part of the company strategy to enhance competitive advantages and to implement social initiatives consists in investing into development of human resources potential and supporting young talented specialists both in Company and in specialized Russian higher educational institutions.

The Company employees are sharing experience and knowledge with young specialists even outside of PETON educational programs by reading lectures and participating in admission committees in universities.

PETON shares a long-standing cooperation unites with Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU). Since 2017, two basic departments, Modelling and Engineering of Chemical Processes and Vessels and Engineering of Oil and Gas Processing Facilities, have been thriving under supervision of PETON.

There are prominent scientists, professors with a long record of working in specialized national higher education institutions, authors of books and monographs. Leading research assistant of Technology and Science Dept. of SRDI O&G “Peton”, Naum A. Samoylov, is a famous scientist specializing in heat and mass transfer processes, a Doctor of Engineering, professor, member of the Thesis Board of USPTU, has a vast record in teaching (over 50 years) and performs a function of a reviewer and opponent for postgraduate degree seekers. Head of Mass Transfer Equipment Department in SRDI O&G “Peton”, a Doctor of Engineering, a member of USPTU Thesis Board, Prof. Svetlana Churakova, is the Head of PETON basic department of Modelling and Engineering of Chemical Processes and Vessels in USPTU, delivers lecture courses on Engineering of Chemistry Processes and Vessels and Development of Energy-Saving Fractionation Technologies for the students of Process Faculty, and runs an original course of Engineering of Chemistry Processes and Vessels for attendees of Additional Education Institute (AEI) of the USPTU in live and remote formats.

A number of PETON specialists are guest and regular lecturers of USPTU, and run workshops and practical training for students.

Lectures for 4th year students of the Technology Faculty of USPTU are delivered within Energy-Saving Technologies in Chemical Industry course.
