The company presented the project "Increasing Labor Productivity at Pipeline Insulation Section by Forming A Mentoring Institute at Peton Construction".
The occupation chosen was "Foam Glass Insulator".
PETON Mentoring Institute has developed a unified approach to the mentoring system to ensure the required labor productivity and on-time completion of project installation works.
The Mentoring Institute will ensure the development and scaling of the workplace adaptation system and the introduction of a unified system for assessing the knowledge and skills of insulators.


Key factors in choosing this particular profession:
●     Complexity and uniqueness of works
●     Need to increase the performance of insulators in order to complete a project on time
●     All defects made in the previous stages manifest in the thermal insulation stage
●     Re-works and defect correction increase the time of the stage


Key project tasks that were successfully accomplished:
1. Reduction in the trainees’ training period to 4-5 weeks
2. Reduction in the installation time of one foam glass layer by 20%
3. Increase in the performance per trainee-insulator by 1.5 times
4. Increase in process efficiency by 10-15%

All mentors were selected according to such criteria as high level of professional competence development, personal interest and readiness to fulfill the mentor’s duties, work experience in the Company of at least 9 months, qualification not lower than Category 5. In total, 6 best insulators meeting the requirements to the mentor's competencies were selected.
To date, the mentoring system has been extended to all vocational professions at all Peton Construction sites. As part of the replication of positive experience, a mentoring program has been developed for welders, mounters and other specialties, and special educational classes and training grounds have been arranged.
In 2023, the plans are underway to cover engineering specialties and to start the formation of a management personnel reserve.
Within the framework of PETON Corporate University, 46 employees of Peton Construction were trained on the advanced training program "Foam Glass Insulator". The Corporate University has on its base training grounds with everything (models, materials, equipment) required for practicing the trainees’ skills.
In total, more than 250 applications were submitted for the contest.
Peton Construction has already been congratulated by representatives of the administration of the Republic of Bashkortostan and colleagues from other companies.
